"To some extent I happily don't know what I'm doing. I feel that it's an artist's responsibility to trust that."
David Byrne
WHO IS BARRELHOUSE?

Jonathan Beitler, Owner
Jonathan Beitler has made a career out of helping corporations, non-profits and individuals find their brand, connect with their audiences and successfully promote their product or service. He has executed marketing and public relations plans for a variety of different companies and organizations, large and small, including Waste Management, University of Houston, Capital One Bank, The Menil Collection, and a variety of non-profit organizations.
Over the past decade he has also produced major events including The Houston Art Car Parade, MenilFest, Mid Main SuperFest, and more.
Always keeping up-to-date with the newest in marketing and advertising trends, Jonathan has a passion for social media applications, their adaptation into a communications plan, their ability to promote a community-wide event, and their role as an emerging mainstream form of media. He has a keen eye for the style and functionality of a website, having produced complete sites for a number of different clients, and his expert writing skills, both technical and creative, have been the basis for bylined articles featured in many national publications.
As a native Houstonian, Jonathan’s unparalleled knowledge of the greater Houston business, ethnic, artistic and social communities has played a major role in his desire to be a part of watching Houston grow into a world-class city. He is deeply involved with and a champion of Houston arts, serving on the boards of local non-profit Fresh Arts and BooTown, and working toward providing artists and non-profits access to economic development, continuing education and networking opportunities to support their professional growth.
You can find him most days enjoying a cold brew at Double Trouble, catching a show at White Oak Music Hall, or taking his dogs Bowie and Gus to the Buffalo Bayou dog park.
